Hi again, Yes I have checked out both. It is not possible to filter for “not Blockly” and as a busy teacher, it is becoming cumbersome to keep clicking on recipes to find out whether they use Blockly or not. I have used the two resources, but was hoping that you all had a “Getting Started Quicker” list– because my students are not ready for Blockly yet (neither am I…). Please let me know if you pull this resource together at some point.

I need a list of easy robots to start with in my classroom. We are not ready for Blockly and all that. So I need Robot Recipes that do not involve Blockly. Do you have a list of these?

Ok, I found this page: https://www.modrobotics.com/knowledge-base/articles/updating-cubelets-from-previous-operating-systems-to-os-4/

So now I know to look for three blinking green — which indicates they are running os4. This is weird because when I first started working last night, with the iphone and my first set, it said I should update to os4.

You folks should shadow a teacher someday– a teacher new to Cubelets and watch them try to figure out your website. I have been a tech teacher for about 25 years and I’m so lost. So I have 2 kits of 12, and I also got a starter kit. I have 4 battery cubes and 3 Bluetooth.

I paired all 3 Bluetooth to my iMac to try and update the OS — nothing. No pop up, no help.

I now have all 3 paired to my iPhone and it says I’m Ready Let’s Get Started– and no other info. The colored cube next to “All of your other Cubelets” is blinking– but what does that mean?? Connect them all together?
I am still trying! Any help on this os4 upgrade would be appreciated. And I already have the getting started one-sheet, as well as something that was about 29 pages, but I can’t seem to find anything on the upgrade process.

There is a grant for $3000 due this week, that I am trying to write. Based on this experience, I don’t know if I am going to bother, because I am so frustrated. The website is super hard to follow and then trace back to where you found one tidbit of info, and the top 2″ always is there, so if I am trying to screenshot a tip– I have to try and zoom out and make it smaller to fit, because of that top 2″. I am still trying! Any help on this os4 upgrade would be appreciated.
